Session not found
If you see "Session not found", your workspace expired or was stopped:
- Click Retry once first — the server may have been briefly unreachable.
- If that doesn't work, click Back to sessions and start a fresh workspace.
- If it keeps happening, contact us at hi@dg.run with your session ID if you have it.
Background: sessions are temporary workspaces — a stopped machine is gone for good and its links stop working. Opening someone else's session URL also shows not-found (sessions are owner-only).
Login codes
- Codes expire after 10 minutes — request a new one if yours expired.
- Check your spam folder if the email doesn't arrive within a minute.
- Requesting a new code invalidates older ones — always enter the latest code.
- If you hit rate limits, wait for the cooldown to finish, then use Resend code.
- Full flow details: Accounts & sign-in.
Sessions and credit
- Sessions run while you have credit — each minute of runtime uses a small amount of balance ($0.04/hour by default).
- Sessions stop when you stop them, when credit runs out, or if your account is blocked.
- Stopping shuts down your cloud workspace — work is not kept.
- Refreshing the page does not stop your session; you'll reconnect to the same workspace while it's live.
- If your workspace shut down unexpectedly, check your Wallet balance, top up if needed, then start a new session. Details: Wallet & billing.
Preview / port links
- A freshly started dev server (e.g.
npm run dev) can take ~30 seconds to appear in the header — make sure it listens on localhost. - Share links (
/p/<token>) render pages but live-reload degrades through the proxy — use the direct link when available for native HMR. See Ports & sharing. - Custom domain stuck on pending? Your
Arecord hasn't propagated yet — verify it points at the exact IP shown in the dialog (both apex andwwwfor apex domains) and leave the dialog open; it re-checks every 5 seconds. See Custom addresses. - Unknown-or-expired-link on a share URL means its session ended — links die with the session and can't be revived.
Payments
- Cancelled Stripe checkouts return you to the Wallet with no charge; the row stays
pendingand ages out. - Paid but balance didn't move? The return page confirms automatically — refresh Wallet once. Unpaid rows expire after ~10 minutes; paid ones settle exactly once (no double charge).
- Amounts below $0.50 are rejected — enter at least the minimum. Details: Wallet & billing.
Workspaces are temporary
Nothing is stored long-term. Copy out anything you need (download files or push to git) before the session ends. See Sessions.
