Terms & Conditions

By using dg.run you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Sessions are temporary — disclaimer

  • All sessions (cloud workspaces) are temporary and may be removed at any time, without any notice — including while a session is still running.
  • Removal can happen for any reason: you stop the session, your credit runs out, your account is blocked, maintenance, infrastructure interruptions, abuse prevention, or any other operational reason.
  • Nothing is stored long-term. Files, installed packages, editor history, port links, and custom-address bindings all disappear with the session and cannot be recovered.
  • Back up your work continuously. Push your code to GitHub (or another git host) early and often, or download files from the editor before the session ends. Anything you haven't pushed or downloaded should be treated as already lost.

2. The service

  • dg.run provides cloud coding workspaces — editor, terminal, and file explorer in your browser — plus preview links for apps you run inside them.
  • The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee availability, uptime, performance, or that sessions, links, or data will persist for any length of time.
  • We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3. Accounts

  • You sign in with an email login code. Keep your email account secure — anyone with access to it can sign in as you.
  • One account per person unless we approve otherwise. You must provide a valid email address.
  • We may block or delete accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or run out of credit — without notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use dg.run to:

  • Break the law, or host, share, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Attack, probe, spam, or abuse other systems, or mine cryptocurrency.
  • Share port links or addresses for phishing, malware, or deceptive content.
  • Attempt to access other users' sessions, data, or accounts.
  • Circumvent billing, credit, access controls, or usage limits.

Port links and custom addresses are public — anyone with the URL can open them. Don't expose anything sensitive through them. See Security & privacy.

5. Credits & payments

  • Sessions consume credit while running (see Wallet & billing). New accounts may start with free trial credit.
  • Credit is consumed as sessions run, including time you leave a session open but idle.
  • Payments (e.g. Stripe top-ups) are final and non-refundable except where required by law. Unused credit has no cash value and can't be transferred or withdrawn.
  • If your balance runs out, running sessions may be stopped immediately and their data lost (see section 1).

6. Liability

  • To the maximum extent allowed by law, dg.run and its operators are not liable for any loss of data, code, work, profits, or access — including work lost when a session is removed.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of dg.run after changes means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be noted here.
