Terms & Conditions

By using dg.run, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Sessions are temporary

  • All sessions (cloud workspaces) are temporary and may be removed at any time, without notice, including while a session is still running.
  • A session may be removed for any reason, including when you stop the session, your credit runs out, your account is suspended, maintenance is required, infrastructure is unavailable, abuse prevention measures are triggered, or for other operational reasons.
  • Session data is not intended to be persistent storage. Files, installed packages, editor history, port links, and custom-address bindings may be deleted when a session ends or is removed and may not be recoverable.
  • Back up your work continuously. Push your code to GitHub or another git host early and often, or download your files before your session ends. Anything you have not backed up should be considered at risk of permanent loss.
  • We may retain certain information, such as account, billing, security, abuse-prevention, or operational records, when reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, or protect dg.run and its users. See our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

  • dg.run provides cloud coding workspaces, including an editor, terminal, and file explorer in your browser, together with preview links for applications running inside those workspaces.
  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • We do not guarantee availability, uptime, performance, security, or that sessions, links, or data will remain available for any particular period.
  • We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Accounts

  • You sign in using an email login code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. Anyone who can access your email may be able to access your dg.run account.
  • You must provide a valid email address and use only your own account unless we explicitly permit otherwise.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use dg.run. dg.run is not directed to children under 13.
  • We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, create security risks, or otherwise interfere with the service or other users.
  • We may also suspend sessions or accounts when required to prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use dg.run to:

  • Break the law or host, share, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
  • Attack, probe, scan, compromise, or abuse other systems or networks without authorization.
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, phishing pages, credential-stealing tools, or other malicious software.
  • Send spam or conduct abusive or deceptive activity.
  • Mine cryptocurrency or use disproportionate resources for purposes unrelated to the service.
  • Attempt to access another user's sessions, data, accounts, credentials, or infrastructure.
  • Circumvent billing, credits, authentication, access controls, rate limits, or other usage restrictions.
  • Use public preview links or custom addresses for phishing, malware, fraud, or deceptive content.
  • Use dg.run to interfere with the availability, security, or operation of the service or other users' sessions.

Port links and custom addresses may be publicly accessible. Anyone with the URL may be able to access the application exposed through that URL. Do not expose passwords, API keys, personal information, or other sensitive information through public applications.

5. Your content and code

  • You retain ownership of the code, files, and other content you upload to dg.run, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload, process, publish, or distribute your content through dg.run.
  • You grant dg.run a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and otherwise use your content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and backing up your code and content.
  • dg.run does not guarantee that code generated or modified using the service will be correct, secure, compatible, or free from defects.

6. AI-generated content

dg.run may use artificial intelligence to generate, modify, analyze, or execute code and other content.

AI-generated output may contain errors, vulnerabilities, inaccurate information, or unwanted changes. You are responsible for reviewing and testing output before using it in production or relying on it for important purposes.

You are also responsible for ensuring that your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws, licenses, and third-party rights.

7. Credits & payments

  • Sessions consume credits while running. See Wallet & Billing for current pricing and credit information.
  • Credits may be consumed while a session is running, including while it is idle.
  • Payments, including account top-ups, are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
  • Unused credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or redeemed for cash.
  • We may change pricing, credit rates, or available plans. Changes generally apply to future purchases unless otherwise required by law.
  • If your balance reaches zero, running sessions may be stopped and session data may be lost.

8. Copyright complaints

You must not use dg.run to knowingly host or distribute content that infringes another person's copyright or other intellectual property rights.

If you believe content available through dg.run infringes your copyright, you may contact us at [hi@dg.run](mailto:hi@dg.run) with sufficient information for us to investigate the complaint.

We may remove or restrict access to content that we reasonably believe violates applicable law or these terms.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

By using dg.run, you acknowledge that information may be processed by dg.run and by third-party service providers as described in that policy.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or sessions if you violate these terms, create security or legal risks, abuse the service, or for operational reasons.

When an account or session is terminated, associated session data may be deleted and may not be recoverable.

You may stop using dg.run at any time.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, dg.run and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, code, work, profits, revenue, or access.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to dg.run during the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of dg.run will be subject to the applicable courts of British Columbia, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may provide reasonable notice through the service or by other appropriate means.

Your continued use of dg.run after the updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
